Director of Development
Davidson Academy is seeking a Director of Development for the current school year. The Director of Development is a full-time position and requires a strategic and visionary leader with a positive fundraising, donor relations, and campaign management track record. Duties include fundraising and managing relationships with financial partners, planning fundraising events, interacting with current and former donors to encourage ongoing contributions, and seeking out opportunities for financial support through grants and sponsorships. The successful candidate will be pivotal in securing resources to enhance special programs, facilities, and educational experiences.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Philanthropy, or a related field is required. A minimum of three to five years of experience in fundraising or advancement projects is preferred.
