Holiday Lights Contest
Brighten up the holiday by participating in the 11th Annual Holiday Lights Contest. Residents and businesses alike are encouraged to light up the city during the month of December. The Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce sponsors this event and all residents and businesses within the 37072 zip code are eligible. Someone can nominate participants or they can nominate themselves. Deadline for entries is December 8th, 2008, judging will be done on December 9th and winners will be announced on December 18th. The residential winners are judged on the most effective use of lights and the winner is awarded a cash prize and Certificate of Appreciation. Businesses are judged on window displays and seasonal decorations. The winning business will receive a Holiday Gift Basket.
