Carousel Grand Opening at RiverGate Mall

Very soon visitors to RiverGate Mall will find a curious yellow cat chasing an excited white rabbit around the Food Court…but don’t be alarmed. It is all part of the new 38’, hand painted, 30,000 pound carousel that will be bringing fantasy to life for children young and old.
This beautiful Venetian carousel will hold 30 other creatures, including a panda, lion, giraffe, pig, ostrich and two chariots. Up to 36 people at a time can take this whimsical ride -- and to ensure that no one is left out, wheelchair access is available. Riders who have the fortune of remembering carousels of the past will immediately see the nostalgic beauty and hear traditional carousel music that they associate with carousels. All riders will feel the magical charm that Barrango Carousels has recreated.
RiverGate Mall and HQ Entertainment invite you to join the fun for the Grand Opening of the new HQ Carousel on October 13th at 1pm in the Food Court. There will be a balloon drop, face painters and balloon artists, a ribbon cutting and much more for this wholesome family fun event. Rides only cost $2.00 each. If a rider is not over 42” tall then they must be accompanied by an adult who will join them at no additional charge. HQ Entertainment is looking for a carousel team. They will need one manager and five operators who must be willing to smile and bring joy to children and children at heart.
