Business Fair
Associated Wholesale Grocers, 500 South Cartwright Street, will hold a Business Fair at our facility on Thursday, March 27th from 11am - 3:30pm. The business fair goal is to provide our employees the opportunity to meet with local businesses to learn about their business and to receive discounts, coupons and/or samples to encourage the employees to shop locally. We do not allow businesses to solicit our employees during the year, other than through a company sponsored event, so this provides a great opportunity to gain access to the over 500 people who work at this location (270 are AWG employees and the balance work for onsite contractors). The event is open to any business that provides a service or product and is not in conflict with our member retail grocery stores. There will be limited space available so we will be selective in who participates to be sure we get a good sampling of the various businesses that express interest. We would ask that any business who is interested in participating to contact either myself or my assistant, Sheila Gregory, to inquire further about participating in this event. Our expectations of any business is to be here the full 4 1/2 hours and provide information about their business and provide discounts for their service or product. We will encourage the businesses to provide free samples, give-aways and drawings for prizes.
