SUMMARY:2006 Goodlettsville Christmas Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Goodlettsville chamber of Commerce will be presenting the Annual Goodlettsville Christmas Parade on December 9th at 5:00 pm.  The theme this year is ?Lights Fantastic? and the Grand Marshall will be Demetria Kalodimos from WSMV Channel 4.  Goodlettsville?s parade is one of very few to be held in the evening and the event promises to be fun for old and young alike\, bringing the sparkle of the season to life with thousands of lights.  Each of the participants in the parade line up will be donating one unwrapped toy valued at a minimum of $25 to the Goodlettsville HELP Center.  The Goodlettsville Help Center is a charitable organization supported by area churches that provides food\, clothes\, and financial assistance to an average of 262 needy families in the Goodlettsville Area every month.\n\nThe parade route will follow Main Street from Goodlettsville First Baptist Church to Goodlettsville City Hall.  The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will immediately follow the parade festivities at City Hall.  Anyone interested in participating in the Christmas Parade will need to contact the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce at 615-859-7979 or via email at info@goodlettsvillechamber.com.  Participants entering after the December 1st deadline will have to make a $25 cash donation to the Goodlettsville HELP Center.
